Surely your game will fail without all 200 Yanfly plugins united. That's the secret of successful RM game design, let nobody tell you different. <goes back to figuring out how to remove the last two Yanfly plugins from his game> :LZSwink:
If you are wondering...yes, I'm still working on my game, and right now I'm learning how to make my own assets. It's slow going, but It's progress. Also, HI! I missed you guys.

Making your own assets is the big step of wanting to be able to do more than you currently can,not having to rely on others to give you something as it may not be fitting for you preferences. And considering that many of us want to make something that stands out from the rest and are also solo devs , it can mean a lot.Keep on trying and you shall achieve the goal you pursue
I heard about Yanfly just now. My Projects just went belly up.
Some jerk hijacked my Online Storage account, and deleted my RPG. IT was the only copy. I have to start over. 3+ yrs of work gone.

That's awful, sorry to hear that. I advice, as long as you can, back up all the important data you have including any rpg games you work on from now on.

Also when I work on a game I always have a "plan" first, for both game mechanics and story, and dialogue included, so no matter what else happens I can quickly look back and remember everything I want to happen in the game.

Granted a plan still doesn't help with the issue of having to start over a project, but at least you won't forget all the stuff you want in the project and it can help make the database, dialgoue and story progress go faster.

My last status update was not a request for help. I have removed it and apologize for any confusion.
It would've been really good if Intel had given us a local version of XDK before they removed it. Would've Saved us a TON of trouble.
Spent most of the day trying to kind a way to convert my project into an APK package. No progress yet, but I'm gonna keep trying like a fool
Do you know how I can show quest in the main menu. Thx

Status updates aren't the place for help request. Please make a new thread in the appropriate section.

Please post this under the appropriate support system. However, know that adding quests will require a plug-in or script, depending on which maker you are using.

Is there any way to playtest Linux builds without Using SteamOS? I was thinking install Linux>Steam Client >RMV> test game.

You don't need SteamOS. The Linux client works on pure Linux. That's what I'm using right now and it's perfect...almost. Couple bugs, but nothing that breaks anything.

Finally done! Time to continue the other one.
Grass... Earth... Sand... Snow! Working on edits for some new autotiles for MZ/MV
Waiting on approval on my One Map Challenge game, which I made to get a feel for RPG Maker. I was able to complete it before MZ's release, now I can focus fully on the MZ game I want to make. I'm excited, ya'll.

I have recently returned to try and developing games after I learned how to use digital drawing software.

My goal is to start simple and small. I am mostly aiming to create a game that I would play, and to tell a story that I would like to read.

Hey I'm new the RPG Maker forms as well and was having the same problem you are with needing 30 post or 30 threads we must complete. Maybe we could help each other out? Why you on the forms what is your goal?
