    My wife has been knitting for almost three years now and I've decided I'm going to attempt to create an RPG about knitting and crocheting just to learn a bit more about what she does so I don't feel so lost when she talks to me.

    I have such great friends. I was talking about RPG Maker MV with someone and they offered to give me an older MacBook Air for development.

    Guess who just pre-ordered RPG Maker MV? Yep this guy! Got my wife's permission too. :) Now if I had beta access that would really make my day...hint hint.

    If rumors are true I really hope RPG Maker MV is compatible with Apple TV SDK rumored to be coming out this week.

    It's HTML5. It's probably compatible with a lot of other platforms indirectly (Windows phone, Wii U, Firefox OS and so on)

    Well, Apple TV doesn't have anything is that HTML5 compatible at this time. But rumor is Apple TV will support apps with this next revision so hopefully they use they same process for Apple TV as they do iOS so we can broaden our target audiences. :)

    Ahh, the old Apple trick of creating new products without features that are already common on existing products, only to include them on the next revision.


    Anyway, I'm sure Phonegap/Cordova will find a way to make html5 apps work on it.

    Today is a day of good news and bad news. I think I have finally found a larger house for my growing family. During the process I've found that my current landlord (which I am renting to own from) hasn't paid any taxes on my house since 2012. Long story but kinda makes me mad to think he was just pocketing the money.

    That's why you don't pay in cash and write in the memo section of the check "Rent for X month of Y year". That's what I do. Makes it easier for the IRS to track him down that way ~_^

    Finally getting some time to work on some pixel art. Yesterday finished a basic 3D block, today made a basic crate. I'm going to learn this yet. :)

    My work computer has been upgraded to a 27" display instead of a 22" display. I think I might need to upgrade my personal display now. :)

    Yeah, it's cool to be able to see the entirety of a 40x40 map in 1:1. :) Plus it's much easier to multitask since you can have several windows open on screen without them feeling smushed. If you can afford to upgrade your personal one, I'd highly recommend doing it.

    Been sorting through all my RPG Maker files and realized part of my problem getting stuff done was I've tried to do nothing but big projects. Gotta work on changing that. Start small. :)

    I've made so much progress tonight. Was able to write down a good majority of story plot / guideline with little interruption. Days like these don't happen often.

    Picked up The Last of Us tonight on recommendation of being a good story game. Being a fan of the Uncharted series I have high expectations.

    Zombie games suck. This is a fungus game. *SPOILER ALERT*


    If I remember correctly, the game is about a mutation of Ophiocordyceps unilateralis <--this fungus. (Which basically makes zombie slaves of ants by attacking the brain.)

    I was in much the same camp. I am not a fan of zombie/horror games, and I bought this game purely for the ND name. But the same was true for me with shooters/uncharted.

In last 5 years, I have bought 4 MSI computer components and had issues with all 4 of them. With two of them these issues were so huge the board was quite unusable. I think it's safe to day it's my last MSI product purchase.
