  • I have found a license issue with the visustella dragonbones plugin library.
    Don't worry, there's an updated version already, you just need to replace the old one with the new one. I talked with yanfly about it this evening, and he takes copyright issues seriously.

    I am glad this could be resolved without any drama - that's why I talked with him first.

    The "MOVE" tag also stopped working

    Just finished v0.1 of FOSSIL. It's a plugin that lets you use MV plugins in MZ without editing them by making them use new functions.

    I have about 40 plugins tested and working so far (including chrono engine and some other big ones). I hope that the community will pitch in and help improve it, so we can use all the old plugins in MZ. :)

    Basically I've been developing it as an ad-hoc thing so far (I've only had MZ for a couple weeks). I don't really understand the differences between MZ and MV on a deep level. Basically I came up with FOSSIL v0.1 by throwing a bunch of MV plugins into MZ, seeing where they exploded, comparing the rmmz_whatever.js against rpg_whatever.js, and adding function references one-by-one to prevent that from happening.

    What would help develop it is basically
    (A) people doing more stress testing of their fav plugins and seeing if the plugins work with existing FOSSIL, or where they break (and ideally how to fix it)
    (B) people who understand the engine better doing preemptive code patches.
    (C) people who are more familiar with JS doing efficiency passes. ATM it's "the first thing that worked", instead of being thought out.

    I have an idea but haven't started yet since we're making a full custom resources like sprite and tilesets, would prolly take years LOL but yeah if ever we make progress I'll let you know.

    And you nailed it on the head!!! Once I did that I seemed hard to get back motivated and keep working on it!

    So I have now removed my demo until I ready!

Took some trial and error, but I managed to create "visuals" for underground dig path regions.
Couldn't sleep at all so I started working on the topmost deck. I've had to make several deviations from the Imperator/Berengaria's deck-plans to accommodate MV's movement, but 100% accuracy was never my intention.
Still no name for the poor ship...:kaodes:
