    I kinda left RPG Maker, but browsing through old projects and seeing the Ace's Script Editor made me want to make something... Expect an update of a silly game titled EC:AttSP (Eric Chronicles) soon I guess. :D  (I believe I didn't post the game on these forums yet, but I will, along with the update)

    I thought you might like to know that Hasbro's official YouTube channel has a playlist of all their My little pony christmas songs, that include all the songs from "A hearth's warming tail"  :D (I love that episode :wub: )


     . . . And I just noticed I've been listening to "Pinkie's Present" on near continuous loop for the last 10 minutes XD (I like that song too much for my own good :p )

    There were troubles here and there, but it's finally almost over. To be honest it would be best to destroy the whole house and build it from scratch. :p  Anyway, it's much better than it was before, so it's good enough. ^^

    Just finished HUD and it feels so nice, now I don't know what should I work on next... When I think about how much work I'll have to do, then I don't want to start doing anything. =P

    Scripting in MLP project is what I wasn't doing for awhile... Scripting HUD on map screen shouldn't be that hard... Let's get to this!

    l did 72h once, its not dangerous at all if you're healthy and don't do it often.

    What irks me in Ace is that, it keeps creating the default folders in the Graphics folder while I absolutely don't need them and I even have them removed from Cache and everything. Ace likes to SPAM.

    I just took a look and they're really similar indeed.


    And SNES Super Turrican has almost the same soundtrack for stage 1 as AMIGA Turrican 3 (also stage 1). =P

    Eventing via scripting is challenging... More than 1000 lines of code just for a single event... But it's worth it! =3


    I've been working on that even for few days now lel. ^^

    After code improvements, RM seems to be handling the game pretty nicely, at least on my PC.

    I know, because I am a beginner. :p

    I would be happy, if I know how to create menu's in MV. or add new menu points like "level up system" to the menu. :)

    I plan to implement crafting in my game as well. It will look like this:


    There will be a cauldron and you'll be dragging items like herbs and such into it to brew potions.


    As for crafting armor/dresses ~ there will be something else ~ perhaps a minigame where you'll have to match gems and such ~


    @Korbinus Yup, I write them. Sadly I'm doing a lot of customization, so I can't really rely on the others (because I'm making graphics let's say on 'live'), but that's fine ~ I enjoy writing them ~ at least most of the time. =P Thank you very much!


    I... Surprisingly, (even for me TBH) I really like MLP apparently. I want to convert show into game, though I'll add some custom things to handle RPG'ing. Actually at the beginning I wanted to make a silly local coop game, but that was my brother's idea to make an MLP one (since we both like it for some strange reason).

    @Rikifive Your game looks awesome!! I also like MLP. I don't know why either, but I simply love Twilight and Rarity; they're so pretty, especially Rarity :3


    I love her sarcastic personality, her fashion sense, every moment when she's exaggerating. Aw, she's perfect in every single sense, hahaha :D

    Hahaha, that's right! I never liked Windows 10 either. Especially because it constantly reminds you to update to it when you're using Windows 7, 8 or 8.1, well if you have installed certain update. Another thing many hate about Windows 10 is that it forces you to install updates from Windows Update; I don't know if it still works like that; anyways, it's a frustrating system, at least for me, xD


    And yeah, let's hope they can fix the issues someday. :/ Pasting a script is a nightmare for scripters here, and when you're trying to find something for your game, then you cannot copy it, because it has a bad structuring.


    Oh, and don't worry, I commit grammar mistakes many times too, haha.

    I had to re-organize files in my game. For my menus I was keeping all the files in one folder. Now when there was 130 graphic files it started to be confusing. ~And there will be another 100+ for sure. =P

    Oh that's a good idea too if you have a ton of different graphics like that. I am not using that many (yet lol) so I just have the default ones like Graphics>Battler, Graphics>Faces, etc. I'll have to keep your system in mind if I end up expanding like that.

    As for keeping Artist's names ~ I have a Resource Folder on my desktop.


    There are multiple folders divided into categories inside.


    And each image has a txt file next to it with an author's name and link.


    If there are more resources created by one person, then I'm making a folder with his name and keeping all the files inside with a txt file.


    Now in the game's folders I have txt files in each folder with graphics, where I'm storing authors' names and what files belong to him, so if I'll be removing a file, I'll remove the file from the txt file as well.

    Ya, I have that too. In the Artist's file, I have a copy of their Terms of Services in each of the folders I have for them. Then, if I use their graphics, I have a master "Credits" list where I put their name and the name of their work(s) I use. That way if I don't use their work, I just take it out of the Credits list.

I want to go play piano now. This is gonna be my stopping point today (yes, I’m very slow at drafting). Might have a few too many curly Qs? Obviously gotta finish the limbs and clean up.
