I swear I didn't mistake a preset sprite for a girl again- Have a Harold in slight perspective! I drew him during stream and am going to use him for a comms sheet revamp. (Came across Archeia's bootiful art of him while looking for refs as well!! Wow!)
I also wanted to say that my bro brought back nostalgia and got me a GBA SP for my birthday! Ah, the memories of Pokémon Sapphire and LeafGreen! It came in a gray shell but he ordered a red one so it'd look like the one I had as a kid. It looks brand new!
Working on some fan assets! I won't share them all just yet, but it's a fun practice! (So maybe keep an eye out for a thread for them in the future?) These boyos are Pink Slimes and a Tabby Slime from Slime Rancher.
My birthday was yesterday and tomorrow marks the day my grandpa died around 5-6 years ago. I think about him a lot, and surprisingly had grown to become interested in programming- something he'd done for a living among other things. Funny how life works. I'm just glad I was able to enjoy yesterday with my immediate family. Anyway- guess who's 9 + 10?
All day I've been working on a programming assignment. I just finished and everything checks out. The day is already ending and all of my errors were caused by a mere accidental swapping of two variable terms. If only I had more than half a braincell...
When I signed up for the forums, I chose the Swift Light theme. Shortly after, the site updated and switched me back to default. Since then, default grew on me, and today I woke up with Swift back on and felt like everything was off. Back to default light for me!
RPG Maker has helped me understand variables like you wouldn't believe- It's been great for my computer science course. Now I shall riddle these lands with so many variables, you'll have to keep track of how many footsteps you've taken to even get through my domain!
Woohoo! I've gotten help for the ZombieTown!! project! My dude-bro Kiga heard about the idea and offered to write the main storyline as well as some side shenanigans for it! When we have enough content for a demo, I'll make a proper thread for it! I'm currently doing some character and world design. God I love these kaomojis--
I had an idea for an RPG game last year, made some tracks for it, wrote for it, and made a fullbody sketch as a game asset. I ended up scrapping it because it was meant to be a gift, but I find myself alone these days. About a month ago I doodled on my whiteboard. It's encouraged me to consider bringing the idea back with new characters and altered gameplay, especially since I've got RPG Maker now.
Just wanted to see if I'd like full-bust facesets more than zoomed-in ones. It's pretty 50/50 right now, especially since I haven't pixeled humans in a while-- (Featuring three shading variations along the bottom row.)
I've finally made a video devlog for my demo! I've edited my progress page here and my itch.io page here with it! I'm a beginner when it comes to recording myself as well as RPG Maker so be prepared to cringe a little... sorry! :'D
I realized that I don't talk about my game's plot too much. not that I'm hiding stuff, I just don't know what I should tell people in general that would be important. I know more so what plot points NOT to tell.
