Not working on any specific project and just messing with MV's mapping system feels oddly freeing.
Coming back to RM finally, and I'm feeling like the tone I want my project to have doesn't match the tone that my resources have.
This semester's been crazy enough that I've had to put my project on hold indefinitely.
It's dawned on me that I probably shouldn't be writing my story like it's a comic book...

Turns out that the 2k3 monsters converted to 5 colors make really fantastic placeholder retro monsters! Who knew?
I think Octopath Traveler is the easiest to pickup and put down after short sessions jrpg I've played in years.
Drawing additional mountain tiles for variance is hard.
Well, the far from home trailer looks better than Homecoming did. This is good.
The worst thing about doing pixel art is when you're playing a game and find a mistake that could have been fixed in 5 seconds but wasn't.
8am classes hurt me.

Welp, I guess I'm just not scaling up the battlers. Let's hope things still look ok.
I always have trouble writing dialog. I know what I want to happen but I can never convey it properly.
