Shaz, why don't you take brief nap on the couch stead, to relieve some of the fatigue, while not losing focus on what you want to be done.

Nearing brain-dead. Do I do another 3 hours (plus stopping/debugging) of Java tutorials, or go play the newest Dark Parables?

Dark Parables and the 3-hour work session are red herrings. You make a sandwich and watch tv. Cracked Black pepper turkey, pepperjack cheese and spicy mustard. Toasted everything bagel. Then you sleep.

The protagonist had been the sole system admin for 5 years and it worked all fine. He had been asking for more people, but the CEOs always declined. Well, a new CEO came, fresh and young blood. He took duties off the admin one by one. Then one day he told him to train a new guy in 14 days. Which was far from enough time to make him understand the complex system.

After these 14 days the protagonist was told to delete his credentials from the system and was fired. However, these credentials had been running important background tasks, so it crashed the entire system. The company lost customers and credibility as a result and was forced to hire a 3rd party to develop a new system... That was buggy as hell.

How about just reading documentation? That is what I usually do. Throw away tutorial and just read the docs. Then if I don't know anything about it, I seek for the tutorial.

@TheoAllen people have different learning styles - I do much better watching videos and being hands-on than reading something. I went through the Oracle documentation/tutorials and they're good, but they leave massive gaps.

Aaah. I figured a machine would be faster since that's how it's usually done for store bought clothing, but I guess the home versions aren't as reliable. Maybe I'm slow because I was just too used to using a crochet hook by the time I first tried knitting. Or maybe it's because I have to use the same type of dexterity with both hands.

I was actually calling a friend and to my shock 911 answered. I told them I was calling a friend, I'm not sure how this happened.

Then my sister figured it out. My friend's number was something like xxx-xx9-11x-xxxx
