Hey artists, if any of you like doing logos and could do with some extra cash, 48HoursLogo seems an interesting place to check out. I'm getting a logo done, and am shocked at how quickly people are making them compared with how much I'm paying!
If you post asking for help with something, try not to turn off potential helpers by acting like an entitled jackass in your opening request. I'm seeing a bit of this lately. Don't make yourself unpleasant to deal with. Nobody owes you anything, especially when you're using something you haven't paid for or said thanks for.
Finding it amusing that people are posting support questions in new threads for an engine that isn't even released yet. Touch and Archeia are the only ones authorised to say anything, and there's only one active thread where they'll be answering questions.
New PC is built. Now I walk that fine line between wanting it NOW, and being responsible and waiting for the stress test to be finished. By this time tomorrow it'll be up and running. And my desk will have had a much-needed clean.
The intricate play between supply and demand and COVID-19 has increased the price of my new computer system by $300 since I got the first quote 6 weeks ago Guess I don't REALLY need a new monitor, and I can pay for Windows 10 activation later. On the upside, I hope to be putting it to use next weekend.
So no staff cuts in our department yet, but the system I look after has an end date. Thinking of studying again so I'm ready for a complete non-IT career change when that end date arrives. Work full time, study full time, RPG Maker, real life, easy, right?
Calculated my tax refund - CHEERS
Looked at my student debt - cries
Still, might be just enough left over to pay for my new computer, which would be awesome!
And my student debt will be fully paid, which is also pretty nice.
I miss collaborations, but I don't know how to find someone to make face parts just to share them with others, and even though I don't like writing or music, I can't trust anyone with writing on my game because it has themes that are easy to mess up, and music needs a clear tone and scenes.
