Making progress on a commissioned battle system. Even though my commissions thread says I don't like battle systems and please don't ask me to do them. And after this commission, my NEXT commission is ... a battle system. I'm such a sucker

Setting up a blog and pastebin for my scripts. Who'd have thought that creating banners and deciding what to put in the sidebar would be worse than actually scripting?
While pulling out my mouse script into a standalone, I've found at least one thing that just doesn't work, and a couple of things that can be done in a much better way. They're fixed in the standalone, but do I now go back and mod my own project, or adopt the 'if it ain't broke ...' attitude?
Outlining a side quest in Word just to get the switch/variable sequence right before eventing it. 1 quest, 4 steps, 3 NPCs, 3 'item' events. Just the outline took 4 pages. And this is supposed to be a relatively easy quest.
I have no idea why some of the program "splash screen" always on top. E.g, RMMZ loading screen stuck on the top blocking anything I want to do until it fully loaded. What is even the purpose?
