    And speaking of 911, I actually called it once, on accident. Now I'm sure people are wondering "How do you call 911 on accident?"

    I was actually calling a friend and to my shock 911 answered. I told them I was calling a friend, I'm not sure how this happened.

    Then my sister figured it out. My friend's number was something like xxx-xx9-11x-xxxx

    I'm not shocked. I used to work for a phone company and the number of people who thought they could NOT live without a phone for 24 hours was shockingly high. They didn't care that everyone else in the state had no service due to a lightning strike, they wanted their phone NOW.

    Once upon a time, we had NO mobile phones, NO internet, NO facebook/instagram/whatsapp. Yet we still managed to live. I AM glad about mobile phones now - much easier to get help if something goes wrong with your car on a long trip.

    I'm used to being ignored. But there was one that irks me was that the same person asked the same question in a different place. I answered here but they also asked in another place. Based on the timestamp, I answered here first before they asked it in another place.

    Facebook post gave my work laptop a virus yesterday. Had to be wiped & reinstalled. Today I can't fb 'cause can't remember passwd. Justice!

    I left fb when it was going to be pretty cancer with politics and social justice post everywhere. now im more into twitter. I can follow, block/mute ppl I want and it has better privacy. Also it has dark theme.

    Search in the plugin releases forum, it's definitely there. Maybe called Save Event Position?? Much better than using Status Updates for this, which isn't really their purpose. But search is always your friend.

    We are scheduled to get NBN on today. When I get home from work we will either have lightning fast internet (ie, 5x current speed), or none!

    Awesome initiative by previous political party to have fibre internet to every house in Australia, watered down to a pathetic fibre-to-the-node but the same old copper line the rest of the way, when the opposition got elected, and their powers that be don't have a clue.

    I am told it's all working, and we were without internet for less than an hour. It all seemed very straightforward and painless.

    If this were a plugin I was writing, I'd be saying there must be a logic error somewhere!

    @Sharm you should know all about it, because we just had a discussion recently about overwritten and aliased methods. I meant to alias a method (do the original stuff then some extra stuff), but overwrote it instead (just do the extra stuff, but not the original stuff). So all the default stuff about setting up the sprite didn't happen.

    Oh yes, that conversation where you said that it would all go over my head and I agreed that I only understood half! (This one makes sense, it's like showing one layer of an image when you meant to show all of them.)

    They are absolutely adorable! Walking around like they own the place, buddies with our cats already. It's just the dog they have to learn how to handle ... but Simon is finding that wagging tail VERY hard to resist!

    well, no phone calls, no issues. Everything ran perfectly (with my project AND end of month/year stuff, which I could also have been called about). Still didn't get a good sleep, expecting a call and hoping to not get one. And idiots up the road with fireworks.

    My nightmare 6-month project is ready to be implemented! Finished all the paperwork today. Go-live is 31 Dec. Now I can relax for 5 days.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:

Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
