    @Shaz, No, firstly I'm trying to make it work with deployed games (totally overlooked that the file structure changes, derp). Luckily, it seems like there is a folder like www/data or app.nw/data etc that holds the map data, so I can probably just do checks on the file structure to determine if it is deployed and in what format.

    hmmm ... I only use data/ and it doesn't seem to care if it's deployed or not. Though I don't think any of my plugins write to the data folder (except the ones that are developer tools and are meant to be removed before deployment). Good luck.

What Reviews say on RPG Maker MZ?
Looking back at some sketches, and game design documents on my PC dated summer of 2015. I started development with the release of MZ, but in 2015, I felt a strong desire to make a game out of the blue. I remember feeling sad for no apparent reason, and all these ideas rushed into my head. Now that I think about it, since that day, everything has become easier to do on my PC . . . it’s very creepy.
