    It's so awesome to add a plugin and then run a test and see that it actually works. I love this feeling.

    And then there's moments of panic like when the Community Basic plugin I neglected to remove conflicted with the Yanfly Core Engine in trying to change screen size. Heheheh.
    I'm still writing the story for my game. I'm going to make a very basic test project to see if all the plugins I have work together or not.

    I like to make a map with 30x30 more or less, then put some events testing the functionality of all the plugins in this same map ^^ Because sometimes the conflict happen only when those two plugins are in action inside the game
    I hit a snag in writing the main story for my game. I'm going to start making the world map for a stronger overview of the heroes' journey.
    Aside from the main story, I'm going to try to make the side quests in my game a strong extra motivation for replays on new game plus mode.

    Chrono Trigger has a few amazing side quests that explore the individual characters' personal backgrounds, and I want to try and recapture the fun of those quests along with some new ideas inspired by my theatre studies.
    It took a while because I had work and other projects, but I finally transferred and catalogued all the music packs I got on sale this year

    After listening to all the tracks, I feel pretty good about how the sound design will turn out when my game is completed. There are some really great musicians producing for RPG Maker.
    I've had to send a support email to Degica after finding something missing on a DLC. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon.
    I should be sleeping but too many roaches to kill. I wish that was a metaphor for working on my game.

    I've found that some of the MV music packs on Steam don't have previews, but they might on this site's shop and on Soundcloud or YouTube.

    Picked up two more for the summer sale. I'm drowning in music now.
    Trying to juggle ten characters cohesively in a single story for my game is a challenge. I have even more respect for the FF writers now.
    The symbol usage in games such as Metroid Prime and Breath of the Wild seems fun. I've added that to the list of stuff planned for my game.

    I'll have to do some photoshopping of tiles, and maybe create video clips to superimpose on tiles, but it should be manageable.
    Not yet done with the story for my game since I decided to expand it drastically from the original concept, but it's slowly progressing.

    Originally, I'd wanted to do simple arena game, then decided to do a city-based story, and now I'm writing a story that takes the heroes across the world.

    A good title can make or break a commercial game. It can be seen by customers as how much effort a designer put into the game itself.
    Even though it's far from where I'm at, I decided to take a look at how Steam achievements can be incorporated to RMMV - I'm so confused.

    At the very least, I picked up the plugin for greenworks and found out how large an achievement graphic needs to be.

    The problem is the code for adding them is controlled by Valve, so there's nothing Degica can do to help with this. You have to submit your game to them and get all the info from them.

    There's a plugin for it on the forums. I'm just trying to figure out how to use it correctly - it won't matter for a while though since I'm nowhere close to finishing my game.
    I'm re-selecting a character theme for one of my planned characters, because I keep hearing the same theme used by other games.

    I like the music but I've heard it too many times not to associate it with other people's games. This could be distracting while I'm writing and listening to the theme for inspiration.
    I saw a really cool minigame plugin but decided against using it for my game. The temptation to overload a gaming experience can be fierce.

    I know the feeling. I had ideas for like 15 mini-games for my game. I ended up with 4 in the end.

I am feeling better about my update schedule, I feel like I am actually getting consistent work done even if it isn’t big updates.
