    That's a pretty impressive map for a first project. Have you done a lot of practice maps?

    Yes. I've used RPG Maker since VX (not ace). So I went back to RMXP to get a sense of how things worked. But I ended up focusing on the MV. And even if I do not have mapping as free as XP, I've learned to deal with the limitations and how to avoid them as much as possible.

    that explains it. I've never been able to get the hang of mapping with Ace and MV. I'm going to give it another go though, and try to get comfortable working with the ever-changing autotiles.
