Does this ever happen to you? You got to bed upset because you just can't figure out how to do something and by the next morning you immediately think of the actual answer? This screen was exactly that. It took an embarrassing amount of time.
Today I removed a lot of flashing used in many attack animations. Instead there's a deep or shallow rumble (it's more satisfying when the controller rumbles with it anyway). I thought about it ever since I nearly blinded myself in the early morning and because someone brought it up. I also realized I have to redo much of Somewhen's thread...
Save/Load complete. Kind of. There should be trinkets or medals that fit in the empty space of the bookmarks to show progression. Was gonna post it earlier, but I couldn't link GIFs. Don't mind all of them having a style level of 000, it just means they're all nakey and don't have anything equipped.
I'm preparing a video. In the meantime, here's the new-new save point graphic. It's a sundial with an orb that changes color to represent both the time of day and which of the 3 elements are being boosted at the time.
Dark Cloud 2 is almost 20 years old. 20 years later, its fans have grown up to be amazing people. Some have even grown up to be aspiring game developers or artists. I'm one of those proud people. I dunno, it just dawned on me how much time has passed and the paths die hard fans have taken.
I didn't realize a curator in another language shared my game on Twitter sometime last year. A-And Google's translation of their description of the game is far more interesting than the one I wrote myself LOL
I think I've just about finished fighting the fight with the tileset I was most intimidated by for game jam. No pictures yet, the map isn't presentable, but I think the tileset will work! I'm very relieved XD
these 80+ gb updates on several years old games are the absolute worst. I just want to play for an hour or so before bed to unwind. Sorry, gotta spend that time downloading an update. Then my mods will be broken so I'll have to start over or wait for those to be updated to. Is a complete game within three years of the pay to be a beta tester period really to much to ask?
