I grew up in mid-Michigan, which is flat as a pancake and has snow every winter, and never saw why people made such a big deal out of snow. It really wasn't hard to drive on if you were careful. Then I moved to eastern Tennessee for a while, and got to see how bad even a small amount of snow and ice makes hilly roads. I get it now.

In a story I read, the vampires were afraid to cross over running water, like a river. But maybe it was in just one story..

The problem is not all Baptist denominations view the sacramental bread and wine (or juice) as holy.

If it was a denomination that believed in transubstantiation, then I'd think it would almost be MORE effective than holy water.

I think vampires are weak to holy energy, regardless of the item. But the rules are flexible. Sometimes a cross has no effect because the wielder has no faith.
I don't know what the Baptist sacramental wine is. If it's something used in church without being made holy through a ritual first, I guess it wouldn't work. It'd be regular wine. But like I said vampire rules aren't that set.
