Am I the only one who hate to play RM games in full screen? Also,I dont like it when a game forces me to fullscreen bcz they think I want. Jan 18, 2019 at 10:20 PM

        i'm a very skilled sleeper if i do say so myself. i can keep up with the best of them! i almost ran for Olympic sleeping one year but they didn't let me in. Something about it not being an Olympic sport? hogwash!

        Like another treasure chest inside a treasure chest? How about a gag segment where the player has to open treasure chests repeatedly to get to the actual treasure. Sort of like Matryoshka dolls.

        Occasionally you see one, but most of the time a lot have to unless its using original stuff/default. I played a one-map challenge game the other day that was unencrypted.

        I plan to eventually release my project unencrypted. The goal is to make all the resources I've done for it it available for free, so the game itself will function more as a demo of the resource capabilities than a game in its own right.

        Haha! I don't think anyone has found it yet but I added a Pacman level at the end of Heir to the Kingdom as an after credits bonus stage. :D

        It's a little different, though. The ghosts don't kill you, they only fight you and the power pellets restore all of your magic. It's all completely evented, though.

        I went into RPG Maker from the other side. I thought it was good only for RPGs so I never considered it. After having played To the Moon, I understood that I could make the kind of game I wanted using this engine.

        You could still spice them up a bit. For example they can still have different skills from one another without making them over complex, so they'll still be easier to finish off but vary. They should still be fun to fight through in the game, right?

        The "Invisible States" aren't for the player to know exist. They exist so that the dev can use "Force Action". It's easier to do if the state is "invisible". For instance, you can have "Electric Enemy has State 'Hit By Water Skill', Force Action of Chain Lightning". The idea is that the player never sees these or knows them, so it looks like the AI is smarter.

        It's good for bosses though. For mobs, I cant do that. Im using random swapper that the combination of mobs could be anything, so for that kind of AI need to be hardcoded to each enemy, not each troop :p

        Ah well yeah, it can be pretty easy to stretch gameplay. Make a sizable area, make some backtracking here and there, throw in a bunch of encounters most of which end up being really easy but just eat up time. Chances are a rpg fan has played a game like that more than a few times.
