Breaking news that nobody will care about: after only 3 months in my new .NET Developer position, I am now MCP, MS and MCSD certified!
I got the job! I am now officially a .NET developer.
See, I was going to set up a development blog for my IGMC entry, but unfortunately the central conceit of the game is that in the first minute or so it appears to be something completely different and if people watch me work on it they'll know what the twist is. XD
Got spare keys for Luna Engine and Game Character Hub available if anyone needs them.
Most awesome thing ever: working on your IGMC entry with your wife. Also Humble Bundle acquired, so I have totally contributed to the prize fund! You're welcome.
Question for you all. You've been given a part-time job at a place you used to work, but you have an upcoming interview for a job you'd rather be doing instead, in line with your ideal career. A job offer would be unlikely to come before you've completed a lengthy induction for the other job that's expensive to the company, and if you took the second job you'd essentially be betraying several good friends you made last time you worked there. Would you take it?

Hmm, should I add new features to Dialogue From File or begin my new TOPSECRET script? Decisions decisions.

DFF version 3 is out!
Dialogue From File version 3 is going to be released tomorrow, with some pretty nifty new features!
So the wordwrap in Dialogue From File is now totally dynamic, so you can use any font size you like and it'll automatically compensate. Just sayin'.
Not only can you have your dialogue in a text file, the words wrap now too! I'm too good to you people.
Honestly thought my latest script would get more attention than this. XD Oh well, back to the drawing board.
Dialogue from file script now supports multiple languages. I do good things when I can't sleep.
Major update to my dialogue from file script! It's actually looking fairly decent now. XD -

You can search the internet. It seems fine to call children little petri dishes. My wife and I raised 4 of them and they brought everything home. But apparently calling students plague bearers is a bridge too far.
