    @PaladinJessa : Sure, but put a 10$ price tag on a 5$ product just so paypal can get half of it isn't particularly appealing.

    PayPal never takes $5 from me... He takes a % fee (i guess is something like 5%)

    Overwriting other people's plugins functions can be a lot of work sometimes.

    It really depends what kind of plugin we're talking about. But when it's more than a few hours worth of work, I'd rather spend a few hours identifying the parts I wish to change, than days coding/testing everything myself.

    It's actually the same with the game's code. You wouldn't rewrite the whole engine yourself just to change a few functions.

    I find that as the work involved increases, so too does the satisfaction that comes when you finish it.
    My project now have a piano feature, because it's nice to take a break from saving the world.

    I guess I could. But the piano was easier to event ! lol And I also don't enjoy that much the fishing mini-games as a player. :LZSrasp:
    Nice thing is I can now probably add short musical references to some old RPGs without breaking any lows.
    It was tough, but I'm done with my Passive Skills plugin ! Love that warm feeling when everything finally works as planned :LZSproud:
    Completed my 4th puzzle, with party spliting and switches. To the next eventing challenge then...

    It was a bit tricky, but I've managed my first "rideable" moving platform event.

    Yup, a double-take function comes to mind, but it's not as easy as it sounds as there's probably no such function in the forefront. :D

    I've already completed it, but I had a look out of curiosity. My puzzle is actually not that simple. The platforms aren't fix, they're moving by themselves and there are also levers that alter their route. So I couldn't have used it anyway. I've also done it without any plugin.
    Still thanks, because I realised I forgot to deal with the followers. I'll go for the easy solution and disable them while riding.
    Just completed a playthrough on my game's act 1. Over 15 hours including optional content !

    Oh, yes, it did. Repeatedly. The only reason I even had a chance was I knew how to get the ultimate armors and weapons for 4 of my characters, and a few ultimate skills. The problem was I had really low HP and MP for what you normally have so I could get one shotted by the boss, so had to know the pattern well to know when to just guard or use a skill to mitigate damage that turn.

    And I had to know which skills to learn, and which to just skip. Definitely not an easy way to play the game, that is for sure.

    I was aiming at a 30ish hours game. So it's nice if I get there. There's really a lot of optional content that the player may skip, but doing so also kinda spices up the difficulty. Not sure yet how long it would take on the most direct playthrough. The average player will probably be wandering halfway between the shortest and longest road though.
    I'll find out more when my main alpha tester will get back on work.
    Took me 2 hours to set up an optional cutscene featuring 6 random unlocked girl characters at random locations... Yup, completely worth it.
    Been working on a macro common event the past few weeks. Over 3100 lines... But it's almost over ! :D

    It's mostly texts with some branching really. That macro event is managing all my characters "private events". But it sure was a lot of writing, with a lot of different characters and situations. I seriously need a break from writing now ! lol
    4 months since released and nobody to tell me my demo's battles were bugged... Seriously ?! :LZSskeptic:

The video of a psycho chasing people on the streets with a sword before getting subdued is wild. Apparent screenshots of his Twitter feed (EDIT: confirmed by Dallas police) before it went private reveal a dangerous delusional mindset. I heard there was a bow person too. The crazies are really coming out of the woodworks.
