Not easy. But if you've played around "Events" too much, I believe it'll be a walk in a park to get the simple basis done. So, your first task is either play that feature or find a "sample base game" provided by anyone to help out devs, that had plugins and stuff already sorted out to get started.- uglywolf

Your opinion on "coinflip" or "gamble" type skills
Personally. It's either "A must" or "Never" to have it in games, I second to what @Andar says about how your battle system are, or the game system itself. This type of skills tend to bring hate from the players which may put your game to negative reviews, but then again, if it has purpose...- uglywolf

Is It Weird to Not Have a Ranged Weapon User?
Bows in general are actually a "bad weapon", it only good when the user is "good on using" it. It's purpose are always "First Strike", either "Ambush" or "Preemptive Hit" before the target reached or ran away from the user. In my case, when you played a game, a player should put the [game common sense] before [theirs] in order to understand it, it is due to [player common sense] aren't likely be applied to it.
