  • Hey there! I just wanted to thank you for the MVFU tool. I got some ACE resources I need for my MV project and MVFU works wonders when it comes to tiles, much better than any conversion I attempted in Photoshop.

Converted character sprites, however, retain a quite thick outline, compared to regular MV sprites, and have a grey aura around them, while rescaling in Photoshop creates rather blocky sprites… Do you know if there a middle way? Like an option to use in PS you could recommend after running the sprite through MVFU?

Hey, thank you for the reply!

I'll try that out, this might just be the fix I was looking for. I found the original MV sprites a bit "too sharp" to fit into most tile sets anyway  :)

    Cheers!

Great :)  Did you have any luck with it?

Hm, well, the thing is that running MV characters through MVFU also gives them the grey halo… So I'm torn on the idea now...

How is this new year for everyone? Hope you are well. Still deep in Covid in the US. Its like a vampire and refuses to die with even more strains. I need some holy water to kill it with.
