  • Contemplating a game based on Chinese mythology. Final boss: Celestial Bureaucracy; procedurally generated transformations. No final form.
Lovecraft's "Nemesis" can be sung to Billy Joel's "Piano Man". This can be found on YouTube. My life is less incomplete now. :D

A Piano Man is able to scare away Lovecraft? ;)
Got a piece of archaeotech today. My uncle gave me his old VCR. If it works, I'll get an adapter thingy to connect it to the PC.
Hum, I can see who I follow, but where do I find who's following me?
Wait, sonofa... I CAN use Element Rates offensively, not just defensively. o_O

Yep. Just use a skill which adds a state which raises the element rate of the target. I do that with one of my skills, which works out to a really powerful combo if used well.

No, I meant like directly using, say, Fire Elemental Rate as part of the damage calculation for fire spells.

Oh dear! You had wisdom teeth so badly anchored?

Nah, never had wisdom teeth. Just the placement of the anaesthetic that makes it follow gravity's lead a little.

I wish I could do that with some painful parts of my anatomy. :D
Steam Summer Sale... All the Sims 3 DLC. Been playing Sims games since they were called "Jones in the Fast Lane"...
Hum, why can I comment on some profile posts, but not on others? I see no particular pattern to it...

Oh? Never saw it myself... Awww I don't see why you'd be blocked by one user... :x

Wait... I haven't blocked anyone but someone who commissioned me never answer unto my progress.

Not "one user" - several, but with seemingly no pattern to it.

It feels like those random 403 or 404 I keep seeing from time to time.
That feeling when your character tells someone "next year will be better"... and the campaign's set in 2015...

I admit, I like old movies that are just close enough for the time of my past and find quotes or things that just kinda make a comment on the near future and... retroactively we understand that what was hoped or expected wasn't meant to be! But we wished to. (I think Back To The Future 2 was good with that and CDs and DVDs all in the garbage -with I do hope won't disappear any time soon for box cover purposes.)
So... Samsa and the Knights of Light... Looks like English is a second language for the creators; I can live with a bit of halting English, graphics are... well, pretty decent, actually, though perhaps a bit suggestive... there's a "comic book reader" built in... and a functional vertical shooter? Dayum! o_O I likey! :D

Well, that's the way it goes. If you're making games and can't stand that it'll be pirated, release all free games or none at all...

That seems to be an original way to do a comic book :)
So, a very twisted and wrong part of my brain just came up with "Hey, I wonder if I could make a Twine game with an RPGMaker MV game embedded, or vice versa?"
I finished a production run of 350 desktop calendars (month-per-page type, metal spiral binding for page flipping) the other day, and they were all delivered yesterday. Today, I got them all back, because the client had listened to the radio this morning, and noticed that the year started with the wrong week, because there was a slip-up in the calendar template I used. A simple fix in the file, of course, but *nobody* had noticed before I actually printed and bound them the last time. Tonight...

Days or... Full calendars? In any cases... WOAH!
Gathered ALL my RTPs and DLCs for assorted makers into a huge resources folder (keeping directory structures - I'm not completely insane). That's... a lot of resources I can use for MV... After an immense background color removal job, that is. o_O

:) Good luck. Find a way to shuffle trough them well :D
Figured out how to get rid of the background color for the 2003 monster battlers, so I could use them in MV. Turns out, the 2003 Behemoth is really sort of a Babyhemoth with the higher resolution... I can do something with this. ;)

That's what you need to call it in game; babyhemoth.

Just plucked RM2K down from Steam. Does this mean it's no longer "That Which Must Not Be Named"? ;)

So, there are about 20 resource packs not yet available as Steam DLCs? *Sigh*

I understand the organizational reasons. On my Steam wishlist I made a priority as to what to buy in order and I can kinda really know if it has been bought, gifted or still in my mind to one day gets around doing which purchase first by theme. I guess that's also what you have in mind Warpmind?
"Okay, I think I got this script figured out. Let's try." *Game craps itself* "Nope, I haven't. Back to the drawing board... Best check two other scripts that do similar things and cross-reference to see if I missed something..." :/

I mean game concepts usually seems good but the game in itself to crap its very own... what game mechanic? Concept?

You know.. I... I kinda lost my interest in living a long time ago. What sustains me is a lack of interest in dying.
Like a star that is balanced between the forces of gravity and outward pressure, I feel like the energy to produce that outward pressure is weakening. I feel like I should pull a Stardew Valley and revert to a more primitive lifestyle, away from others. :(
made more sprite for the Time passing game that I may or may not actually make. At least now I have a better idea how to make Rtp Walk sprites actually look wrinkly and old, since the Generator doesn't do that.
Well, now all of my Refreshable Events scripts also feature some brand new demos to let people see how easy it is to let the script handle the refreshing of a given set of events. All of this with just one specific script call per event!
Sorry Kitty...I'm practicing my harmonics. RIP your ears.
I noticed they now have a Gremlins cartoon. Nothing like striking when the iron is hot then trying to make a reboot from a movie made 34 years ago.
