Hey, y'all, is the shade of brown of her trousers different enough or does she just look pantsless?
Still puttering along on critter parts, but here's some in action:
@Shikamon you put the idea in my head and now I'm making critter ears and stuff. Accessories rather than bases since you said more ears and tails than full beast-people. Critter pieces are happening.
I have Galv's Event Spawner and Coelocanth's Item Crafting set up and working and not interfering with each other. I can make potions out of random stuff I find on the ground ... well, one test potion at this time.
Actually working on my game for once. ¬_¬ I do need to slap a couple maps down just to get things started, but I'm trying not to fiddle with them too much yet.
Of course I had to make a character with one of the new bases:
I'm starting to think about Advent 2022. Is there anything you want me to focus on? - more kids, more orcs, more dwarves, more whatever? What do you feel is lacking in my thread, what would you use? Or are you happy with whatever I random up?
Starting work on the Plus clothes. Once I've got a selection I can finally start building characters on these bases:
I'll probably release the Plus bases in the next few days. Then to finish up the Teen bases, then I want to build Elderly bases to finish up Basic Humanoids, then I have more ideas. I will be at this for a while.
Just to show off some of the bases I have and the differences between them, a gif of Child, Teen, Adult, and Plus.
( You haven't seen the teens yet because until now I hadn't been happy with them. I messed with them a bit tonight and I think they're pretty much there. )
All right, now I think I'm done with these plus size sprite bases, unless someone sees a flaw I missed.
I'll still wait a week or so before declaring them Actually Done, in case I notice anything I want to change.
I think I'm 95% done on the plus size sprites. Once I'm certain, I can start working on clothes. Fortunately for me, I don't need to make all new clothes, mostly just shirts and trousers/skirts.
Finally got back to working on my plus size sprites. Made a few small changes on the female, starting work on the male. How's he looking?
This month I decided to make a bard, why not?
For this month's sprite, I'm inflicting one of my Stardew farmers on you.
All aboard the Advent calendar train, riding Avery's coattails as an excuse to make more sprites.

Plus-size sprite continues! Front and back views done, or at least mostly there depending on if there's any more work you all think she needs. Once I get her done I can get working on her masculine counterpart:
I think those extra pixels did it. ^_^ Now to work on the front and back views.
Working on making plus-size bases. How's she looking? Specifically, is this plus enough for obvious variation in bases or does she need a few more pixels around the midsection?
