went back to a 2 on 2 (mostly) format. it's more fun with at least 2 party members active lol. you can still switch out to the 3rd member though. overall I'm just so happy with my progress and how this turned out in general with designing this boss.
as of right now... I've got 2 different boss models for some bosses. A chibi one with multiple animations, but they don't look very imposing. or a bigger one that lacks other motions, but looks more intimidating I feel... can't decide on which I should use.
Finally drew the intro scene to the game. Think of it as "pictures right before disaster strike". it has 2 of the characters discussing one of their futures and things might go awry with anxiety and panic...
Each area of my game acts sort of like a level of sorts. These 3 are the bosses of the first area. Called Team Outcast, there's Riley, Mary Mars McQueen (Triple M), and Enig. A trio of wanna be super heroes.
There's 7 main areas in the game that are all connected. This train get's you from an underground lab to the center of someone's subconscious. inside the train you can talk to some of the passengers. but going to the top of it, there's battles.
I got inspired by Odin Sphere and beat em ups to where only certain maps in an area will have battles. So to let you know when that's about to happen, you'll get this warning of sorts. They'll usually be 2-4 fights in a room you'll have to clear to proceed.
I know it can be a little confusing with all the advent calendars and time zones, but make sure Starbird, GalacticGod, WaywardMartian and Guardinthena get all the love they deserve fot their hard work! ;3
*it's getting better all the time* tenacious determination (got bills to pay) and doing PT for this gimpy hand - I'm improving quite a bit. Had to resign from my fav Lead Security Analyst job because I couldn't type to keep pace however, Big N kept me on, so finishing my contracts with them.
