Considering that mechanically they are very similar, it must be the story or presentation of it. The stories, while different, both are about the atrocities by the haves on the have-nots.
In presentation, Symphonia was a title that buried the horrors of the story under a candy shell. Whereas Berseria has the atrocities right there in your face.
@MHRob The combat felt very clunky and I really didn't like the characters, it's strange because I'm normally very tolerant of stuff like that and will stick with the game for a while.
@Mrs_Allykat I'm a bit of a sucker for a tragic story so I think you might be right! I found what I played of Zestiria and Symphonia a bit too happy to the point of cringing, particularly Zestiria.
so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most.
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
