Thriller has got to be at the top of the list surely.
I've got one which you may not have expected (Motown Halloween )
@DivideByZero Not the Monster Mash?
This Is Halloween by Marilyn Manson.
I've always liked Come Little Children from Hocus Pocus:
@The Stranger I usually listen to the original movie versions of, well, most of the songs from Nightmare before Christmas 'round Halloween (And the rest of the year, truthfully )
And the soundtrack to Hocus Pocus too
I love the way Sarah sings that one
@SpaceBot I'm not gonna lie, I read "I Put a Spell on you" in Bette Midler's voice XD
I do see that now we have two Marilyn Mansons and no Aurelio Voltaire, I need to fix this!
Does Day of the Dead stuff count?
@Snow White I used to have a crush on Sarah as a kid. Then again, I think the point of her character is to be the most attractive of the three witches.
I was introduced to Voltaire by someone on here ages ago. It's not a Halloween song, but I really like a song called Crusade by him:
Oh, and I enjoy listening to the theme song of Tales from the Crypt:
@The Stranger I love a lot of Voltaire's songs, he doesn't worry about speaking his mind, he basically sings what he wants to sing about at the time, and gets away with it because he's witty, and I respect that. (Plus, I agree with what he's saying a lot of the time XD)
I know this is out of season, but have you heard his song "Santa Claus is Satan", It's almost annoyingly catchy
And I hadn't heard the Tales from the Crypt song before, I like it!
@Snow White OMG, Tales from the Crypt is awesome. If you get the chance, watch Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight.
I don't know much about Voltaire as a person (I don't really know much about any of the musicians who've created some of my favourite music), but I like some of his work. I'm often disappointed by how so many people tailor their public image to fit in with what's currently popular, so I don't bother to look into the beliefs of the creators of music\films\games.
@The Stranger I'll have to look it up sometime
And I know what you mean about tailored public images, so it makes me happy when I see someone who keeps doing their own thing and doesn't care if it's currently "in" or "out" (Like Voltaire, who seems to be a perennial goth) It's nice when they're just themselves and don't mind if they fit with what's (apparently) popular
Oh, and I remembered another Halloween song! After the ones we've already had, it comes out of nowhere XD
Eh, who cares, it makes me happy! *sings along like a two year old*
