I could understand if it went down a dollar, maybe even not quite but almost a dollar.... but no having to pay 5 cents more a gallon isint going to make groceries more affordable. :/

If you drive a lot it all adds up. I drive two miles out of my way to get gas at Costco because they are consistently 10c cheaper than a regular gas station. Ends up being hundreds of dollars in savings over a year. I drive 45 miles to work one way.

Yup, it's all about saving money in the long term. To be rich you must be cheap lol.

I'd rather get one of the Top Tier gas brands because my car's owner manual recommends that.

@MushroomCake28 is exactly right on this. Do this nonstop throughout your daily life and be SHOCKED how much money you have all of a sudden.

Lemme guess. You take the bus?

No, I drive. I just know I've had relatives and friends say they need gas, pass one even two by, to get to another one to see what the price was, only to turn around to go back to the first because it was 2 cents cheaper. :/

I wish we had a bus here, I would ride it every time.

Oh. Yeah. By the time they've done that, they already wasted the gas.

@Golden Unicorn Gaming : That only works as long as you don't burn more in gas than you save. So if you only needed say 1 gallon of gas it wouldn't be worth it as I'm sure you'd burn $0.10 in gas just driving those 2 miles.

And then also, not everyone's cars consume gas at the same rate. :<

@bgillisp That only applies to people filling up 1 gallon tho and who does that? A 13-20 gallon tank always makes it worth it

@Golden Unicorn Gaming - T.T .... I put my last 2$ in my tank just a few minutes ago. A little over half a gallon... come to think about it, I dont think Ive ever had a full tank in this car.

as others have said it adds up. My previous job was an hour each way. So if I could save money I would. It was taking $40 a week when it was sub $2/gal now it would be around $60. Changed jobs and a tank lasts me 2 weeks lol.

@KaBlooZio just think how much more money you’d have if you always filled up 5 or 10c cheaper since you started paying for your own gas? I know for me it’s thousands (I’m 37)

Another way to break it down using the 10c example. 10 cents per gallon for a 20-gallon tank is $2 per fill up. Last job I averaged two fills a week. So $4 per week or $216/year. 10 years of that alone is $2160

I like to think of Profile Posts as tiny homes, full of all kinds of unsuspecting suckers "future" friends.... Many of which are of course only going to be excited when a strange man in black suddenly shows up to say hi. :LZSexcite:

Tried the new Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus today. Very nice device overall, but flagship smartphone prices are getting completely out of control.
