It's cool that you've found a way to create your own tools for MV. I always thought it was a great shame that the whole tools thing never really went anywhere, it had so many possibilities.

seems you found some interesting features there. nice!

@Eliaquim looks like it lol

@The Stranger There's a lot of limitation in the editor that would make it less useful. It's basically a fancy app launcher, except they also prevent their own tools from running outside of the editor.

Also since project data isn't reloaded automatically whenever the files are changed externally (eg: you make changes to database json files in notepad or external database editor), it just doesn't streamline properly.

Now if they actually made it so that the editor can hot-reload automatically...then there's more value.

this is still a pretty neat thing. like, if you wanted to write your own little system that had too many options, or need things the default plugin parameters doesnt offer. As long as your data wasnt affecting the default json files it should* be all good. Again. Nice findings!! Hopefully mz will have similar.

@?????? that's true. Maybe for some users it's easier to be able to launch it directly through the editor. Also makes it feel more legit? lol

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
