See that's why I've build my world creation plugin... Now I just have 11 blank maps of varying sizes. I push a button and out pops a game. If I don't like it, I push the button again and boom! A whole new world! :LZSexcite: If want to try something new, I just give it new instructions and push the button again. :LZSwink:

Exactly, though I didn't specifically build it for that. I wanted to go far beyond what was normally graphically possible with MV (also er... lazy map building doesn't hurt). But at the moment I'm reliant on QMovement's collider system. Which is what makes this so interesting to me, I would like to build PIXI's interaction into it instead when I get the chance.:LZSexcite:

@ImaginaryVillain Pixel detection is what I've been looking for right now lol if someone already has a library that handles all of it and could be applied to arbitrary textures (eg: irregular shapes, etc), that would be quite something.

Oh, for some reason I figured you'd already know about https://quxios.github.io/plugins mostly because he hasn't been around for some number of years. His plugins are most impressive, QMovement even has add-on plugins, one does the hit detection for your map based on an image. Also you might be interested in his QMap plugin which has a side program that lets you build maps and setup hit detection in it.

@ImaginaryVillain Oh yes I know about his plugin suite. Everytime he showed a new ABS feature with the collisions, it was all quite magical. I don't know if I would be able to figure out all the math and stuff involved while trying to make it performant.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
