Unfortunately, that's the reality of developing a game by yourself. Take regular breaks to avoid burnout. I'm sure you'll be proud of yourself once you've finally completed it, though.
All of the programming, music, and mapping is done by me, but I had help on the writing/design and completely offloaded the art. The people involved are another reason why I can't quit. It would make their hard work go to waste too. I will be incredibly satisfied when it's all done.
Just gonna be honest with you Prescott, maybe you might want to take a break. Like, find something to clear the air for you, something to give you the drive and motivation to kick it into gear.
I'm pretty sure your team would understand if you need a break. If you try and push yourself when you have no desire at the moment, it will negatively impact the quality of your game. Read a book, binge a series, take a hike, something to clear your mind. Then, when you're ready, come back. I'm pretty sure your team will be understanding and waiting for you.
so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most.
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
