OMGGGGGG did you hit that on the head. the IP Owner i'm working under seems to think a whole system can be generated with like 15 mins of key strokes and it all work great and dandy and all is butterflies and rainbows... *screams internally*

what people think dev life is like: I will make the ideal game I want to play that no one has made yet and have fun playing it


in actuality: I will spend so much time debugging this game that I will have an unfathomable loathing for nearly every element of it due to sheer over exposure.

actually, are there any JRPG type games (I guess turn based, so not ARPGs like say, Vagrant Story) where you have only one party member for the majority of the game? (I wonder if I'm forgetting something obvious.)

A month into making my life/dating sim game and I've finally finished making all of the love interests :kaocry: I still have to make most of their emotion range and overworld sprites but aye I'm proud of myself.
