And yet, without it, you can't do interesting things with Visual Encounters. Can't create useful AI or advanced puzzles. It's a tool that you don't quite realize how useful and powerful it is, until you don't have it and you need it.

I wasn't saying it wasn't useful. I was saying that wasn't the direction of RPG Maker. Keep adding more features and you end up doing it like Un*** with object prefabs and script behavior attached to the object to determine the interaction between them.

To be fair... RPG Maker, while a good product, could stand to be better. There's plenty of refinement needed here, and we see "marginal" updates with each new program released. I didn't even need the feature until I was attempting to program, "when these two enemies touch each other, they fight" and the movement routes were random. It hurts RPG creation to not have it.

Evening humans! How goes the game make?
The anime characters we saw 20 years ago,
still have the same age when we see them now.
Somehow it's strange but also beautiful.
It's like no matter how much we change,
there's certain part of ourselves we can reconnect to when we see them again.
Took a long, long time, way longer than it should to be honest...but I've finally finished the big content update to my demo!
