Watch the first episode if you got it on Netflix. It's a good lesson in writing, if nothing else!

This is why I haven't had television service in over 8 years; just not enough worthwhile programs and to get the shows you want you have to buy 50 you don't.

That's like saying that since Justin Bieber is so popular all music must suck. I'm not a big TV watcher, but I believe that you can't dismiss a medium outright because you don't like the a small part of it.

Doctor Who doesn't always have the best writing (it isn't one guy writing it all!) but series 2-4 were some of the best ever.

If you can't imagine any show being any better because it's a popular show, might as well stop playing games, because I'm fairly sure Farmville and Candycrush Saga are (or at least were) the most popular games on the planet. And put books in there, considering 50 shades of grey. Heck, how about paintings, art, food, do you get my point yet..?

It's called fiction for a reason. If you watch fictional shows for realism your looking in the wrong direction. I like the show, I really don't give a crap if it's plausible or not. It's called entertainment, no school. If I wanted to get stuff right, I'd go to a lab. Who gives a crap if their scienece wrong. I enjoyed it.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
