That's one of the planned State-related features, by the way.
In this feature, you can set one skill to inflict Poison which deals 12 HP damage per turn and lasts 3 turns, while another skill may inflict 40 HP poison damage per turn and lasts 2 turn, by only using one State in database.
This way, I don't need to mess around with generally same states with different magnitudes and durations.
so in simple multi variation of the states effect depending of turn ? this would take in consideration resistance effects or such?
This feature will be counted after resistances, as it's only handle the state duration and slip damage effect, by the way.
Intentionally I made this to simplify the monkeypatch I've made earlier, and ease me to make funnier state properties in future.
