Yes. I greatly enjoyed it. What was there to be disappointed about?
^I guess I just expected a "supermoon/Bloodmoon" to be distinguishable from a normal eclipse (and I'm sure it was at the right elevations/with the right observing tools and such.) But it didn't look any different from where we were than any other eclipse.
I loved every second of it - until I went to bed, that is.
I did see it very nicely. I had to drive to the coast, though as it was very cloudy in the valley. It was worth every second.
I had everything ready: my telescope, my mobile phone camera, my alarm clock supposed to wake me up at 4am and....surprise! A dayum large cloud completely covered the moon the whole time, and so I couldn't see anything at all.
@Dalph - Awwwh. That's a real shame, mate.
It really sucks yeah. At least I can see some pictures of it on the net, still better than nothing at all.
