I'm still confused about why people are so amazed by Live2D... Yes, it can do cool animation, but that method of animation existed before Live2D. Am I missing something?

No, Hoppy, I won't. It's still the same thing as other animating systems - using layers for animating parts - so what exactly makes this stand out over others? Or is it just because it's been plastered with anime characters that is has gained popularity?

I'm with taarna23 on here, Live2D isn't really groundbreaking work.

The groundbreaking part is it creates a 3D model from what is originally a 2D drawing.

That is ok. I know the rest of the Actor 3 Set...
so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most.

Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
