At least according to my old coworkers.
Happy birthday, Oh Ancient One!
I know, right! 'Bout to kick the bucket.
No, no, no. Early 20s last until you're at least 33. Late 20s last until you're 40. This is just basic science.
I could probably keep saying I'm 25 for at least a few more years. ;D
Happy birthday @Ms Littlefish
Lol its ok, I am 30 and I still look like a teen
I know it's not a bad thing to look young. But "is your mother home?" and "when do you graduate high school?" does sort of draw a sigh out of me. XD
I totally get it. That and getting carded when you want a pack of smokes LOL
@Vexed Aaah, okay. So I'm in my late 20's. Makes sense, I look it.
@Ms Littlefish: Yes, I know that one! And when I'd tell people how old I really was I'd always get an embarrassed "Oh, well, you'll appreciate it when you're older." I'm older now, it's still not useful. It gets in the way with dating, and people still don't take me very seriously. My cutesy little girl voice does not help.
Yep. Like, I know that 26 is still definitely young and with much I have yet to experience, but assuming I have the life experience of a 16-17 year old instead has resulted in some frustrating exchanges.
Happy Birthday. Your age does not really matter. You get more experienced and knowledgeable as grow older. So many lessons learned and I am 38 by the way.
Thank you everyone; for the birthday wishes.
