You know all about my feels about him .w.)b
I don't mind Ralph. I mean, he's not my favorite, but I could see him as a solid protagonist. One thing for sure though, he reminds me of the type of guy who probably rarely plays in the grey areas of life. Not that that's bad, but I've always enjoyed characters with a darker element to them. Where they're technically good, but they are not afraid to get their hands dirty in the least bit. Like Gambit on the old X-Men animated tv series from the 1990's. I love characters like that because they seem more human to me. Plus, when the going gets tough, they can get down and dirty, and they aren't afraid to break the rules.
Biggest guy I have a beef with in the RTP is Terence. And it's not because of his design. When we had that forum werewolf game a while back, Terence and I had a few run-ins with eachother, and it ultimately led to me having to put Terence in a grave
Now he is a marked man for life in my books. BD
He's a wuss.
@JCBrickston hahaha I can't believe you remember that :'D
@Archeia The Commando never forgets!
@JCBrickston maybe we can have another game that's a real bona fide mystery next time.
I used to like his design and think he can be a real protagonist in a game, but after seeing countless versions of Ralph all over the place, I don't know what to think anymore. XD
alas we knew him TOO well
@Archeia I'd love that. I mean, don't get me wrong, Werewolf is a good guessing game, but when it boils down to it, I love card games and mystery games that really rely on logical deduction. Like The Resistance series. I am in love with that game Avalon. It's addicting.
But on a forum where things are harder to organize, guessing games are good too. It makes it easier for a troll like me...to be a troll I suppose.
Next forum game though, I want a couple other troublemakers in there with me to spice up the mix. The Commando felt a little awkward in there at times!
Wait, there are other Ralph clones? I thought I was the only one.
Trust me, you don't want to know....
You have to admit though, this is still effective even today:
I'm sorry to say this, Dalph...but you probably feel a little like Buzz Lightyear when he saw that commercial featuring other Buzz Lightyear's...
Yes...Ralph is mass produced and sold in stores worldwide. He can karate chop and use a laser...just like you.
Since I came out after him (2 years) it's to be expected I guess, in truth he should be the one surprised that I exist, lol
Pff, Ralph was just an Aluxes wannabe
But honestly, never really liked his design, though I've never really liked any designs of the protagonists. Except Harold. I like Harold's look
You know, if we think about it, but what if Ralph is really Aluxes...?
...what if everyone is really a clone of everyone? Even Terence! (before he tragically died I mean)
What if I told you that Keanu Reeves was really a clone of Ralph?
Well if we get biblical, there's the story about God and how he made Adam and Eve, and the rest is history.
So Aluxes is Adam and Ralph is Eve?
Hahahaha! I almost died on the Morgan Freeman one.
I think he's cute, but I dare not have a crush on him or I'll get murdered by Nessy...
Thus ends another chapter in the life of a troll!
A new adventure awaits for another day!
Honestly I've always had the image of a guy spending his waking hours in a bar wasted and blathering about what a great hero he was in the past before someone stole his legendary sword. That's what I made him in a small game I made a long time ago in vx to learn the ropes, so that's how I'd always thought of him sense.
His face kind of reminds me of Full Metal but without the pony tail. He looks cool and could easily be a protagonist in his own game. I wish my character designs were that good.
Seriously, LOL at those celebrity name memes. Just found another one:
Separate names with a comma.
