Any particular reason why? I'm currently struggling with that one in that I have no odea how it should play mechanically yet!
Sounds like it'd be an interesting visual novel-like story with gameplay.
I actually initially set the original project that way to sidestep the need for too many sprites since our collective spriting skills weren't that great. The story was more mecha anime-inspired like Dual! and Sakura Wars, but I really didn't like the story anymore and I've since lost contact with the artist who did the mechs.
Looks nice! Too bad about the takedowns though. Maybe a story revision will do?
Well the revision is re-theming the game around super sentai/power rangers. I have a story outlined, but I'm looking into mechanics now and figuring out if there's a game in there that's viable on RM*.
The first idea I sort of a handle on the mechanics. It's the plot that I need to figure out.
