They usually are. XD
@HexMozart88 there are quite a few good ones - but holy hell.
Jakes Quest *shivers*
@WolfFS I'll need a link!
I know good games exist. I just meant that bad looking RM games usually are bad.
@HexMozart88 I can't think of any instance where a bad looking game has been good, actually...so I guess you're right! :3
Speaking of good RM games - if you haven't played Pale Echoes it's still my favorite (aside from Phil Hamilton's games)!
I deny responsibility for brain cells you may lose while playing this game.
I used to buy RM games on steam in the hopes they would be good. Then I got 2 major clunkers in a row that were so unbalanced that I couldn't finish them. Not again.
PS: Look up youtube videos of a game called Gulpy Gulpy if you want to see a bad RM game played by someone. I don't think it's possible to find a copy of it anywhere anymore, but the video alone is...something else.
@bgillisp OMG WHAT IS THIS!? AHAHAHA
Buy them! Buy them all!
@IAmJakeSauvage : Aruga?
@bgillisp that was too much. I'm still crying.
Me too. That annoying seizure part though... the creator of the video probably should've put a disclaimer about that.
I'm at the point that I have steam set to hide all RM Games, because no matter how much I like the engine and the community, the amount of dreck on steam is overflowing.
One instance where checking out the reviews is most certainly warranted.
@Vox Novus I can name quite a few games that are AWFUL that have great reviews. LOL
Well, I've found they tend to at least be somewhat of an indicator as far as RM games are concerned. Once you read the same issues a few times over you kind of get the picture that its probably one to avoid.
