The 140 character limit drives me crazy! No, you're not the only one. I actually still stress about it sometimes. That's why I try to tell people often that blue text isn't yelling or means that your in trouble, it's just a way of saying "this person is acting officially right now". If you're trying we don't actually mind if we need to move things around. It's confusing, we get it.

@Sharm I never really thought about blue text as just acting officially. I understood it as "hey, you did something wrong, but let's go ahead and correct it." Not an end-of-the-world issue but still kind of disappointing when I mess up.

Oh yeah, it totally does. Not terribly often, one of the reasons moderators are chosen is because they understand how the forums work, but it does happen.

I'm not really worried about blue texts. And eventhough initially I was hoping I wouldn't get modded, in the end I don't mind when I do. Because while it's a warning from a mod, it's also an acknowlegement that we are humans Also, we chess players know that every rule out there is meant to be broken, you just have to know when you can break the rules and when you can't

As for the 140 characters limit, why don't we create a post about it, for increasing the limit to, let's say, 250 characters? That's still not many, but you can at least write something without either separating it to x statuses or using comments that are way less limited.

If it were an easy fix the limit would have been changed already, we all hate it. It's something to do with the way the forum software is set up, sadly. I think there was talk about changing it eventually but it's not a high priority.
The rules are different for status feeds, so there's no double post rule, at least not for replying. Spamming the main feed is clearly not okay.

Still, from time to time double posts are necessary. In my home country's forum I couldn't avoid them, because I was allowed only two pictures per post due to some weird bug... And if I was pointing out in game inaccuracies, I often needed to post six pictures, which is a triple post. But mods understood it, luckily

Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
