If my memory is good, the original rmmv menu system freeze the games and shut down the fps to 10~20.
For a menu as fast, I go through preload sprites by steps per separate module.

next Step is the MAP menu.

Honestly, I don't like it... I love it!
It actually makes me very angry how the default menu is handled. Not only the game freezes, but also with slower machines it freezes for a long time. My menu transition takes like 5 seconds and then it finally unfreezes.
@Poryg This is the reason why I have removed most of the source code, also the combat system.
This may seem long, but I think it's worth it, if we can suppress most of the Japanese source code.
