Really? My brother hates his Asus laptop.
It has no fan.
Mine has no fan too. It is also very unstable. Brother's has burned off its' irreplaceable battery after 7 months and so fragile screen that he can bend it with his hand. His asus wireless mouse has zero durability before it turns off, mine has a wire, but after seven months of using already clicks two times so often it is annoying.
I find it amazing that my $4 9 years old genius mouse works without issues (but I cannot use it on my laptop, because it needs PS2, not USB ). And my $9 bucks asus mouse is malfunctioning after only 7 months. But well, Asus has taught me one thing... I'm not rich enough to buy cheap goods. Next time I buy a laptop, it will be HP. And next time I buy a desktop, if will be a custom build!
HP has onsite-warranty.
So is it just after laptop that it is failing? No fan? are they making them in Siberia or Alaska?
Ack another height of after 6 month buy the newest bestest junk to replace 6 month after? Ack!
No. There is passive cooling. In my laptop the only thing that has a fan is the cpu though, the rest is susceptible to overheating.
