Indeed. Instant gratification only satisfies us in the very short term. It's nice every now and again in moderate doses. But ultimately, it's the stuff that requires effort on our behalf that eventually brings us true long-lasting satisfaction, such as finishing your game for example.

Honestly, I'm one of the guy that gets easily distracted because I'm expecting instant gratification. But I learn alot from my mistakes and eventually come to this realization. It's perhaps the most beautiful realization for me xD

All things should be about hard work and patience. Patience is, after all, a virtue - though you wouldn't realise that in this day and age. :p Ah, I shouldn't be too hard on others. It's not entirely their fault. Many have been raised into this age of entitlement and instant-everything.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
