That's not necessarily anything. Last time I thought I was hearing voices it turned out to be a radio whose on/off switch was dying. First make completely certain that you're not hearing anything real. You might be surprised to find someone randomly was sitting by your front door or something.

If you rule that out and are absolutely certain it's your mind playing tricks, there are treatments for schizophrenia, you'll be fine. It's highly unlikely though, schizophrenia comes with other symptoms too, you would have noticed.

Yeah, I haven't noticed any other symptoms. Probably a one off thing. Maybe the hobos drinking outside again. Xd

Most likely. Don't feel bad about it if it turns out to be nothing, freaking out is your minds way of trying to keep you safe. I can't even count the times something like that has happened to me. The joys of living alone!

Technically I could potentially get ideas for concepts of my games from those things I've heard. (They stopped now).
The Stranger
Auditory hallucinations (voices) are fairly common, and can be symptoms of many things. I hear voices on a near daily basis; I have borderline personality disorder. Hearing voices is only a problem when they're either compelling you to do things you don't want to do, or they're hostile\aggressive in some form.
