It's got so bad, that simply disagreeing with one of these ideological zealots gets you branded as a racist, bigot, transphobe, homophobe, misogynist, and any other politically correct buzzword you can think of. These words are thrown around so much that they've lost all power and meaning.

I have yet to come into contact with such people proving they are a minority that no one likes. @Alexander Hawksmoor Disagreements and dissenting opinion are healthy. Not a fan of how vocal extremists on either side are, or how they keep trying to divide the country by turning politics and discussion into tribal conflicts. I fully agree with you that these muppets are a minority; most people seem to be more balanced.
