That's something I've been kinda saddened by, I miss when more companies would try to make creative games that have color and identity. Not like I have anything against realistic games but I honestly just enjoy the cartooney side of games due to the their ability to be more creative and fun looking.
@KanaX Oh yeah, I think that pirate level looks neet. I saw it at E3 and everything! I thought the artstyle clash of the real pirates and Goofy and Donald very funny.
@FleshToDust And that's the reason why Ninty's my favorite of the 3 current 1st party companies, they focus less on hyper realism and more just making a fun game.
The Monkey Island series is excellent. There's also the One Piece games, though most of those don't make it out of Japan. The only one I've been able to play was surprisingly fun.
