I want to use talksprites the same way Ace Attorney Investigations does it. I want an image to appear, animate while talking, and otherwise idle. The images should also be switchable. How do I do that?
Any help would be much appreciated!
As it turns out, I understood nothing of what you said.
EDIT: I think I understand now, however its still not working.
EDIT: I think I just figured out why it's not working. It's because of the endless amount of suffixes.
I want to move the text further up, but I've tried messing around with the Y position in Window_Message and none of its worked quite right. (Not like, to the top of the screen, mind you, only like 15 - 30 pixels further up.)
Victors diagonal movement script is fantastic, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to use diagonal sprites.

So I've recently gotten back into using RPG Maker, and I've been installing a lot of scripts. Problem is, Galvs' Message Background shows this error upon trying to playtest the game with it in Materials.
I've tried essentially nothing at this point, because I haven't found anyone...
Okay... I'm injured and stuck in bed with a bad knee. And I'm only 24! I shouldn't be limping this badly, but my leg refuses to fully straighten and it hurts if I try to push it.
At least I have my games to work on.
To elaborate on "safety" since bgillisp locked the thread, some lunatics will take reports personally and decide to harass people who file reports or otherwise complain about them. Me, I don't care but others seeing that might nope right out of discussion. Being a former mod back in the mid-2000s for some gaming forums in by BYOND days I can tell you some people go crazy.
