So me asking questions is nonsense? Wow alright then
and I don't think I'm wrong either. In theory you might be right. But by the time he builds an entire town filled with everything he envisions I am pretty sure it will not run as smooth as you make it seem.
Doesn't the lag largely depend on size of map? OP said he wants to make a town. If that town is on one gigantic map with all the switches and variables I would think it would slow down performance. Wouldn't it? Especially after all the other stuff he adds to the map like graphics and maybe...
It is possible. Using switches, variables and what not. But with something this complex you are likely to run into performance issues. Your maps would most likely have to be rather small to reduce lag. Not sure though. But what you described sounds very taxing for any Rpg maker engine
Is there a way that you can display a 'downed' body graphic of the pernadead actor?
I'm talking about the graphic on the map as well as the portrait graphic found in the menu.
Hello,
first off I'd like to say that this is not your typical rpg maker game lol. I am making a plane crash survival game on RPG Maker MV.

You get to name and create your own character. the game starts out in Alaska and you board a small...
I have not experienced a good original story in a very long time. Is creativity dead? Eh I dunno. A real fatalist might say yes but I'm not so sure. But I do believe every story copies parts of other stories. where the story is set and how it's told is usually what makes it unique. But it all...
Fatalistic? Nice..
What makes me so fatalistic? Because I mention that the most successful movies and video games are usually the most simple and cliche? You really think any story is 100% unique, it's not. The way you tell the story is what makes it unique. The setting, the characters etc. but...
you missed my point with the examples. I'm talking about the initial game opening. First 20min of gameplay I would much rather have a simple and easy start like I'm hiking with my sister, she falls, gets injured and then vanishes. As opposed to finding out about important places and ancient...
It's not a story outline it's just the initial setup. I think you are focusing way too much on the "sister" part. It could be anyone. I just used that as an example. My point is the execution of the game.
How is a fictional king any more interesting than your sister vanishing? How is one...
