im using the Plugin TF_Ballon_Ex in my Project.
Now I have bought new balloons, but these are 64x64 and the rpg maker as well as the plugin can only display 48x48.
The Plugin RSM Balloon Upgrade got a function to change the size to 64x64 and it works.
Unfortunately i am missing some...

Maybe i can change the size with asperite and get a better pixel quality. Otherwise i will ask an programmer to convert the size function into tf_balloon :) I keep you up to date
I was confused myself. I can't write a script myself, but I have some understanding now and it should actually appear in the parameters... you can insert it yourself in the rpg maker, but I tried everything yesterday.

Unfortunately it does not work. Size does not appear in my menu. Additionally I tried it with the Plugin Command (example: TF_SET_BALLOON -1 1 2 12 64 0 0)
Since you set the default to 64, I tried my 64x64 balloon row, but it doesn't work either. It's definitely still set to 48x48.

I don't need any functions from RSM apart from the function that it shows me the balloon in 64x64.
The "Frame Size" here in the picture from the RSM plugin.
Otherwise I only use TF_Balloon and the plugin commands, because TF_Balloon already...

I tried to increase the size from 32x32 to 48x48 but it looks horrible. To 64 isnt a Problem, bc its the "double size" -> "double pixel".
I found a plugin with which the maker displays the balloon in 64x64... unfortunately this plugin crashes my other balloon plugin, which I need for more...

I have only two Poses - a Run and Idle Pose. I think its important to put the different poses in one charset file with your normal 4-direction movement character.. so this file is always loaded and you have no issues.
Otherwise you can use something like GALV_ImageCache and load a image before...
Ugh-I HATE this! There's construction going on in my area and because of that my Internet connection is wonky; this site in particular keeps constantly freezing up on me; I can't even barely type a single sentence without the page freezing in the middle of it! I hope this changes soon.
