It is always fun to hear what other composers create! :D Great work and keep it going everyone!
Here is something small I wrote tonight. I've started making my own (virtual) instruments and this features three of them.
These are always tough for me. I listen to A LOT of different music. Recently a good deal of jazz, mostly contemporary vocal jazz with piano trios or big bands. Seth Macfarlane is a great example of what I'm talking about. Also more classical pop like Andrea Boccelli. I really love his Christmas...
It has been a forever and a day since I came by last time :D Here is something I made today. Inspired by a digital painting I spotted today. The track is called Passion. It is a simple tune that was written, mixed and mastered within one hour.
@SlySlySly Sheet music is a good way of working. If you ever feel like jumping to the world of DAWs, you can write the MIDI in a scoring software like MuseScore and take it then to the DAW for further work. I do that sometimes :)
Nice! I heard some issues with the melody. It clashed with the riff a bit but with more work it will be good =) The quality was good, tone of the guitar was really cool. Just pay attention to the balance in the mix – both in volume and panning. I suggest having two guitar tracks that are similar...
The idea was to create something that just drops an "impossible" assignment on you =D I give myself an hour to accomplish it. I think I made a new version of it... Let me upload a new file =)

Man, it has been forever since I shared something here! Life... Love it and hate it at the same time :D
I decided to restart with my 60 minute challenges :D I created a small app that gives me a completely random assignment (often impossible like in this case). I present you: Chicago Is...
@KayZaman Don't worry =) I1s okay not to understand/know/get things ^_^ for future (depending of your goals with music) you should look into the matter. Expandability is one of the key assets a modern composer can have when it comes to gear.
How about virtual instruments? On iPad I guess if you use the connection app... can't remember it's name now....... but the MacBook version? I'm in the understanding you can't use let's say Native Instruments stuff in Garageband.
@Ms Littlefish Have you tried Dorico yet? I decided to try it the other day an really enjoyed using it. There was some functionality that was still missing in comparison to let's say Sibelius which was my composition tool for a good while but they have a way solid foundation. I think it could be...
Another thing that is seriously worth trying is just pen and paper. It is hard, but it gives a beautifully intimate relationship to the music you write. In addition to forcing you to learn to hear music in your mind that is...
I have to say REAL acoustic instruments. Nothing beats the possibility to play and really feel the music. I do it all too little =(
BUT to actually answer your question about a system, I prefer a DAW and good, inspiring virtual instruments :)
Look no further! Here is something small I made with Excel today :)

This is an app concept. It gives a challenge or a mission to compose a piece of music with certain attributes. All feedback is welcome! I want...
Hey! Those of you (@Shuji@Ms Littlefish and others) who were wonder about mixing things, here is something that might help you guys out a bit :) I'm still practicing my screen performance but I hope I've delivered the message in an understandable way!
So.. The friend of mine takes a tad too forever with the editing so I have to start delivering by myself :)
I just published my first tutorial video on YouTube! If you feel like it, you are more than welcome to go see what is up and what I am sharing.
I will talk with the...
Heyo! Recently finished some work for a client :) I got a wonderful chance to experiment with a new genre I had never written before. Allow me to present my first adventure to the world of retrowave!
@Cyreides I like both tunes you posted :) The first one, the battle theme, was...
Might start playing some rpg maker games and uploading the games on youtube. Realistically they're not going to be for views. Just to give anyone some feedback on any games they're working on. So if you'd like me to play and review your game just reply them down here. And I'll upload them on Rpg4MGames.
Ah, so THIS is what it feels like to sleep till I naturally wake up, and not be woken up by an alarm or other unwanted stimuli... holy crap I feel like I can lift a house! XD (Or work on my game)
