My user folder is literally just my initials + my last name, nothing but plain english letters.
And I've been meaning to change the folder name anyway since it's not really 'Final Fantasy' anymore because copyright isn't something I wanna **** with.
Is there anything else you can think to try...
The last project I worked on was my main project which is stored in the default Games folder in Documents.
I also tried to load up other project files, which I believe would cause it to load the game in those folders?
Currently, the 'game' .exes don't even register as being usable by MV, since...
Do you mean like other games? Cause stuff like League, the Tales Series, etc, whether Steam or not, all work just fine for me.
Honestly at this point I'm considering just backing up all my project files and doing a fresh install of Windows.
I only put it in the C folder hoping taking it out of Program Files would somehow fix the issue.
And yes, apparently Steam has a different version, but the error message otherwise appears to be the same?
When i attempt to open the program in any way, from any project or the basic .EXE in the install folder.
I'm looking at the crash in Event Viewer and it says it's an application error, but I'm not sure what could be causing it all of a sudden.
I dont have a second monitor. That's what I meant by 'would', sorry that was pretty unclear.
I don't even remember it's been so long since I've swapped.
My computer would support it but if that were the problem it would sit idle on the task bar. It doesnt it just disappears.
I could check my processes when I get off work but there doesnt seem to be anything new installed that would cause it.
Definitely nothing new on Start Up since this...
grief rpg maker... why oh why did I have to jump through like 30 hoops to (hopefully) have fixed the engine targeting ko'd people during multi hit/random attacks?
I finally finished the wrong clue death scene. So at least the player can see something cool before they get a Game Over. Prolly be less cool if they have to keep watching it repeatedly.
